Miguel Rivera is a principal and co-founder of Willow Street Capital (WSC). He brings with him more than 20 years of experience in hotel investment, asset management, operations, finance, feasibility, and valuation.


Prior to founding WSC, he was Head of Hotel Investments at FCA, a private investment fund part of Libra Capital. At FCA, he oversaw the turnaround of a portfolio of 11 upper upscale and luxury hotels. Under his leadership, the portfolio was on track to increase trailing-12-month NOI by more than 90%. Prior to FCA, Miguel was a partner in the Hotel Asset Management division of HVS, the world’s leading hotel consulting firm. There, he oversaw a portfolio of properties with more than 3,800 guest rooms and worth over $1 billion on behalf of a diverse group of clients. He consistently generated significant NOI increases at properties he asset managed. He negotiated favorable management agreements for clients, and helped clients to buy and sell hotels and implement management transition plans.


Miguel was also an SVP at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he worked on more than $880 million worth of hotel transactions while leading the group’s Latin American operations. Before that, he was an Associate Director at Standard & Poor’s, where he served as a lead analyst for new CMBS transactions. He oversaw the underwriting and credit analysis of pools of mortgages of commercial properties of every type. Previously, he was a Vice President at HVS, where he valued more than $2 billion worth of hospitality real estate throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. He formed part of the Vancouver and San Francisco HVS offices, and initiated the firm’s Mexico business in 1999.


Miguel holds an MBA from Yale University and a BS in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.




Naomi Mirsky is a principal and co-founder of Willow Street Capital (WSC). She brings with her more than 15 years of experience in hotel development, design, construction, project management and sustainability.


Prior to founding WSC, Naomi was the Vice President of Sustainability and Innovation at Denihan Hospitality Group (DHG) based in New York City. She was responsible for the development and implementation of sustainability strategy, policies, and initiatives throughout the company’s portfolio of 14 owned and managed upscale hotel properties. The initiatives focused on enhancing the financial performance and efficiency of the company’s portfolio, as well as the health and wellness of Denihan’s associates and customers.


Prior to joining DHG, Naomi was the Senior Director of Development for DLJ/Credit Suisse and Morgan’s Hotel Group, where she led the project and cost management team to develop the 1.6M-SF renovation and expansion of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas (HRHLV). The project was successfully completed under the $800M budget and ahead of schedule. Before her tenure at HRHLV, Naomi was the Director of Architecture and Construction at Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. overseeing new-build and renovation projects for the W, St. Regis and Luxury Collection brands. Naomi was also a Project Manager with the international project and cost management firm, Gardiner and Theobald Inc. (G&T), overseeing high profile corporate and institutional construction projects.


Naomi holds an MBA from Cornell University, an MA in Architecture from the University of London and a BA from Boston University.
